The Chesapeake Culinary Center, initiated by the Friends of the Grape, Inc., is partnering with the Denton Development Corporation, Town of Denton, Caroline County, and Caroline County Board of Education to provide training opportunities for high school students and adults in the food service/tourism industry.
Dear Faithful Supporters, Patrons & Community:
I would like to express my deepest gratitude for your support and patronage at the Emerson House Restaurant. Our last day of restaurant operations will be March 20th. We are sorry to disappoint so many of you by scaling back our operations to a storefront. However, after taking a very hard look at our long term goals of restoring the Old Caroline High School, we felt it was in our best interest, financially and dedicated time, to focus on our forever home (renovations to begin this Spring). We would like to also thank the landowners for allowing us to rent the facility, and their efforts towards lowering our monthly cost.
Please know that any gift certificates you may have can be used at the SHORE GOURMET DENTON MARKET new location at 5 S. Second Street featuring Shore Gourmet products and some of your favorite Emerson grab-n-go food items. We will continue our training of youth and adults in the culinary field through the storefront, catering, after school and summer programs. Our phone number of 410-479-0015 will remain the same if you need to contact us.
I would like to take this time also to thank the town of Denton, Caroline County government, and all the agencies and organizations that have partnered with us to make CCC so successful. Special thanks to our volunteers and staff for their dedication.
I am sure everyone knows but our volunteers are amazing! Thank you to all that dedicate their time and passion to our non profits. It makes our community a very special place to live.
Regards,
Beth Brewster
